High-quality tulle curtains – easy-care & stylish
Our tulle curtains are crafted from the finest fabrics selected in Bursa, the heart of the textile industry. They resemble linen in appearance but are made of 100% polyester. This material was deliberately chosen to provide an easy-care, washable, and iron-free product.
For lovers of natural materials, we also carry fabrics with genuine linen in various blends. While these look very elegant, they require significantly more care: They wrinkle easily and require extensive treatment after washing to regain their desired shape.
Our tulle curtains are washable at 30°C, should be hung without spinning, and can be ironed at low temperatures if necessary. Installation, removal, and reinstallation are particularly easy—ideal for everyday use.
We offer you a particularly high-quality white tulle variant, which is very popular in many households and is considered an absolutely timeless classic.
You can choose between classic white and modern black for the rail color – both options fit perfectly with any interior design style.
How to measure the width of your curtain correctly
To ensure your curtain fits perfectly and drapes beautifully, it's important to determine the correct width. This guide will help you determine the right measurement:
-
Determine window width
First, measure the pure width of your window or door opening – that is, just the glass including the frame, without any allowances. -
Consider allowances left and right
For a harmonious overall picture, we recommend adding 25-30 cm to the window width on both sides .
This results in a total addition of 50–60 cm to the measured width.Example:
If your window opening is 200 cm wide, your curtain rail and therefore the ordered curtain width should be 260 cm . -
Why are side allowances important?
When you pull the curtain to the side, you want it to hang completely beside the window, not just in front of it. This allows for a clear view of the outside and makes the window appear larger.Important for doors:
If it is a door, a generous side allowance is particularly important - the curtain must be able to be pushed to the side far enough so that the door can be opened without restriction. -
What to do when space is limited?
If there is limited space on the left or right, add as much as possible.
Make sure the look is balanced: the difference between the left and right sides should not be more than 5-10 cm . -
Use of materials in production
We manufacture your curtain with a fabric ratio of 1:3 to achieve beautiful folds.
For 1 meter of rail length we use approximately 3.4 meters of fabric. -
What do you specify when ordering?
When ordering, please enter the desired width of the rail or the total curtain width including the allowances – not the amount of fabric.
In our example that would be 260 cm .
How to measure the height of your curtain correctly
Precise height measurement is crucial for the perfect appearance of your curtain. Please consider the following points to determine the ideal measurement:
-
Wait for construction sites or renovations
If construction work is still underway on the ceiling or floor, wait to take measurements until all work is complete. This is the only way to obtain a reliable final measurement. -
Measurement at three points
Especially in older or renovated buildings – but also occasionally in new buildings – it can happen that the height to the right and left of the window differs slightly. Therefore, measure the height from floor to ceiling in three places :
- right ,
– middle ,
– left of the window opening.Use the lowest measured value as the basis for ordering.
Example:
Right: 245 cm – Middle: 246 cm – Left: 247 cm → size to be ordered: 245 cm
This will prevent the curtain from dragging on the floor on one side and hanging in the air on the other. -
Plan distance from the floor and ceiling
Subtract 4 cm from the measured room height (floor to ceiling):
– 2 cm distance between curtain and ceiling,
– 2 cm distance between curtain and floor.
This game creates an airy look and compensates for slight unevenness in the floor or ceiling.Example:
Room height: 250 cm → Order size: 246 cm -
Tolerance in production
Please note that a tolerance of ±1 cm is technically possible during production. Our recommendation takes this variation into account and reduces the risk of visible length differences due to uneven floors or ceilings. -

Installation instructions for tulle curtains – explained step by step
With every order we supply you with all the materials required for assembly:
Clips, screws, dowels and other accessories are included in delivery.
To ensure your curtains look their best, please note the following:
-
Distance to the wall
The curtain rail should be mounted on the ceiling at a distance of 8-10 cm from the wall .
This allows the folds of the curtain to unfold freely without rubbing against the wall or losing their shape.Important:
If there is an obstacle under the window, such as a windowsill or a radiator, the distance must be measured from the outermost edge of the obstacle .
Example:
For a window sill with a depth of 8 cm, the rail is mounted 16-18 cm from the wall . -
Choosing the right dowel
Use suitable dowels according to your ceiling – concrete or plasterboard (Rigips) require different fastening materials. -
Mounting the clips and rail
– Attach the supplied mounting clips directly to the ceiling at intervals of approximately 50–60 cm .
– The curtain rail is then simply pushed into the clips and securely fixed.A notice:
Lateral adjustment of the rail is possible to a limited extent after installation – it is best to position the rail exactly in the middle right from the start. -
Hang and adjust the curtain
Begin hanging the curtain from right to left . Make sure you don't miss any of the pleat hooks .Once the curtain is completely hung, the pleats (pliés) should be aligned evenly by hand : – The outer edge of the fabric should face the wall.
– Between each hook there should be a nice, even wave pattern – always alternating one fold outwards, one inwards. -
Wrinkles caused by packaging
Due to transport and packaging, slight creases may occur. These usually smooth out after a few days , once the curtain is hung and can be removed.
